Building Progress
Our hall has been in a permanent state of 'building in progress' since the last time it moved location.
We have a regular team of leaders and helpers at the group who chip away at the everlasting list of building and maintenance jobs that need doing. Once or twice a year we organise a work weekend. We prepare as many jobs and tasks as possible and so we can get as much completed as possible on the weekend. We have another work weekend planed for the 17th/18th May 2009, and plan to have another work weekend in July 2009.
The work completed below was carried out on 29th March 2009 by Paul Miles, Ross Robinson and Matthias Edwards.
Ross and Matthias fitting the new lights in the main hall, the new lights are energy saving lights that will use less electricity to run and the bulbs should last longer! We are trying to do our bit to save the planet :) |
This is our new flag pole, we want to be able to do flag breaks outside during the warmer evenings. |

This is the start of the new BBQ, we want to have it completed by the beginning of June 2009 ready for our 80th Birthday Celebrations. If there are any brick layers out there who fancy finishing this off, please get in touch with Diana Cook - 07772 536 417 |
