Work Weekend
There is a work weekend scheduled for the weekend of 16th/17th May. At the end of the Saturday we will be providing a BBQ, Wine and Beer for any one who helped. There is a poster and list in the Lobby with more information, please add your name to the list if you can provide any help, even if its just a few hours… The Scout Group Needs You!

Ravensbury Funday/Family Day
On Sunday 5th July we will be holding a family fun day at Revensbury park as we have done in previous years, there will be a BBQ, a pioneering swing for all to play on and a selection of boats on the river for all to use. This is a free event for all to join. More information to follow closer to event.

Easter Egg Hunt followed by St Georges Day Parade
On Sunday 26th April we are holding a free Easter egg hunt up the Scout hall in the morning followed by St Georges Day parade in the afternoon, we will be transporting the children to St Georges day and bringing them back to the hall afterwards. You may only attend the Easter Egg hunt if you are attending the parade afterwards. More information closer to the event.

80 for 80 Camp at Frylandswood Scout Campsite
On the weekend of 1th-4th May 2009 we are joining Frylands in their 80th Birthday celebrations - this is a camp for all sections of the group, Cubs and Scouts are camping for the whole weekend with Beavers visiting for a day

Summer Camp in W.Sussex
On the week starting the 9th August 2009 we are going on Group Camp to W.Sussex, the Scouts and leaders will be in camp all week, the Cubs are visiting for Sunday to Thursday and the Beavers are visiting on the Monday.

The Groups 80th Birthday Celebrations
This year in June its the Groups 80th Birthday, we are holding a Disco and BBQ (free to all group members and parents/guardians), it will be a BYO (bring your own) drink event and we will provide the food - over 18s and parents are allowed to drink alcohol at the Scout Hut on this occasion. The disco will be aimed at all age groups, we'll have a big birthday cake for all to have a piece and probably some games to entertain the young children.
