What we need!
There are always things a Scout Group needs, it ranges from help on a meeting night with running games and activities for the scouts to help with building. If you think you are able to offer some time, no matter how little please check out the list of needs below to see if you can help.

| Section Leaders/Helpers | If you have time to give up 2 hours a week at the scout hall, 3 weekends a year and some time each week for preparation please get in touch, each section could do with some extra helpers. | Cleaner | Our head quarters are big, although everyone cleans up after themselves it would be useful to have a someone to come down the hall once a month and do some general cleaning (kitchen, toilet, main hall and windows) | Paul Miles, Group Chairman on 02086465956 |
We are also in need of building materials to help with the above jobs, we have a tools to do the jobs. If you have any building materials available or spare please get in touch with Diana Cook or Paul Miles (see contact page for details)
Note:
To help in sections with the children we will require you to have a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, the results of this check are confidential and the only people who will find out the results of your check is you and the district secretary. This check is free of charge and takes approx 6 weeks to complete. Once cleared you are free to work with the children. If you are concerned about this in any way please discuss this with the Group Scout Leader.
